A zipper provides access to your armrest. Then the armrest will have a separate cover.

Black Duck canvas seat covers are not like a regular seat cover you would pick up
at your local auto parts or discount department store.

The canvas is very thick, heavy, rigid and 100% waterproof. Therefore we do not
recommend putting these seat covers in a washing machine, like you would regular
seat covers. They are also not suitable for dry cleaning.

To properly care for your Black Duck seat covers, we recommend you first give them
a vacuum to remove any dirt and dust from the canvas. Then use cold water and a
soft cloth to wipe clean the canvas.
You may notice slight discolouration of the seat covers after cleaning.

Black Duck Cleaning Instructions

  • Vacuum the canvas to remove dust and dirt.
  • Use a soft cloth and cold water to wipe the canvas clean.
  • Not suitable for dry cleaning or washing machine.

n.b. Push the centre ties through between the seat cushion at the base of the seat back, so they can be tied on the other side. Where there is carpet on the back of the seat restricting access through the seat, push the ties through the corner of the seat back and base.

Custom Made Seat Covers

Front Seat Covers

PLEASE NOTE: For front buckets with standard integrated side airbags only.

The front seat covers are made to suit seats with side airbags. Please make sure that the correct seat cover is used i.e. the airbag tag should be nearest the door. For the seat cover that comes with airbag tags on both sides, it is safe to use it on either driver or passenger side. Seat covers with airbag safe deploy safe features by necessity do come with special computerised stitching that are weaker than normal stitching.
This enables the safe deployment of the side air bags during collision. When you fit them on, you have to be extra gentle. Please avoid pulling them from the airbag seams, as that is the weakest point.

1. Remove the headrest. Fit the headrest cover to the shape of the headrest, fasten the strips together. Headrest covers have to be snugly fitted. It may take quite an effort to fit them. Please do not tug at the seams when you fit them. It is easier if you squeeze the headrest from side to side as you push the cover towards it.
2. Place the seat cover over the back of the seat and pull down gently, straightening the cover for a tight snug fit. Push the centre tie strips through between the seat cushions at the base of the seat back, so they can be tied on the other side.
3. Put the base cover over the base of the seat. Straighten to ensure a neat, snug fit.
4. Run the tie strips on the outside of the seat cover base behind the side cover of the seat and bring it under the seat just above the seat rail. The seat cover is held in position by the tie strips. Bring the inside strip under the seat, join the strips by looping them over each other, tightening for a snug fit. (Eg. 1 to 1)
5. Run the tie strips from the front of the seat cover back under the seat tightening them to the centre strips. This will pull the seat cover back down shaping the cover to the seat.

n.b. Push the centre ties through between the seat cushion at the base of the seat back, so they can be tied on the other side. Where there is carpet on the back of the seat restricting access through the seat, push the ties through the corner of the seat back and base.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Correct initial fitting and securing of this seat cover on the vehicle is essential to guarantee the safety of the user. Incorrect fitting can prevent the seat airbag from deploying correctly in the event of a collision. If the side seam splits for any reason it cannot be repaired. Any attempt to sew the seam may interfere with the Standard Integrated Side Airbag Deployment. Discard the seat cover after side airbag activation. Airbag deployment must never be compromised by the incorrect fitting of car set covers.

AIRBAG WARNING: These seat covers must only be used for cars that have Standard Integrated Side Airbags. If you are unsure check with the vehicle manufacturer. The Airbag deploys from the centre of the side of the seat closest to the car door. (Please note the “Airbag Deployment Zone” in the illustration). The seam is and must remain located in the area from forward edge (A) to the outside rear edge (B) of the seat back. If a seat cover is moved from its intended placement for any reason, it must be placed back in its correct position before use. See the illustration and fitting instructions. Under no circumstances should the sides of the seat covers be tampered with. Incorrect fitting can prevent the seat airbag  from inflating correctly.

Middle Seat Covers

2. Drop any split section forward to enable the seat covers to be fitted to the back of the seats.
3. Place the seat cover over the back of the seat and pull down gently, straightening the cover for a tight snug fit. Push the centre tie strips through between the seat cushions at the base of the seat back, so they can be tied on the other side.
4. Put the base cover over the base of the seat, whether it is a one piece or split base. Straighten to ensure a neat, snug fit.
5. Run the tie strips on the outside of the seat cover base behind the side cover of the seat and bring it under the seat just above the seat rail. The seat cover is held in position by the tie strips. Bring the inside strip under the seat, join the strips by looping them over each other, tightening for a snug fit.
6. Run the tie strips from the front of the seat cover back under the seat tightening them to the centre strips. This will pull the seat cover back down shaping the cover to the seat.

Rear Seat Covers

1. Remove the headrest. Fit the headrest cover to the shape of the headrest, fasten the tie strips together and place the head rest back once the back of the seat has been placed in its position.
2. Unlock or unscrew the back of the rear seats and remove them from their base, for easy access.
3. Fit the seat covers on the back part of the rear seat whether it is a one piece or split back. Wrap the cover around the back rest and pull down gently, straightening the seat covers for a tight, snug fit. Fasten the tie strips and join them together for a tight fit.
4. If there is an arm-rest, drop it down. Fit cover onto the arm-rest and fasten the strips together..
5. Fit the seat covers onto the base whether it is a one piece or split back. Fasten the tie strips and join them together for a tight fit.
Lock or screw the base of the seat into its position.

Or:

Fitting instructions:
1. Remove the back rest, head rests and base of seat from vehicle and fit appropriate sections.
2. Ties should be tied onto framework on the reverse or underside of both backrest and base of seat.
If the backrest cannot be removed, ensure the seat cover is well tucked in between the seat back and the rear parcel shelf.
3. Replace both sections and smooth out any wrinkles.
4. Fit headrests into back rest, then slide covers over and centre.

Most headrests are easy to remove with by pressing a button to release.
Other headrests can be more tricky.  Please watch the how-to video for an example of removing a tricky headrest.

Other headrests have small pin holes in the stalk. By inserting a pin, it allows the headrest to be removed.

The sheepskin seat covers have a padded lining. The hide is covered by the lining to prevent damage to your original seats.
